Important Updates: The Timothy S.Y. Lam Foundation’s travel grant program has been permanently suspended.
The Timothy S. Y. Lam Foundation recognizes the importance of attending professional conferences for continuing education. However, the foundation has decided to move its focus to assist a wider range of demographics and professional needs. New initiatives to support and empower underserved communities, and underprivileged and under-employed individuals were introduced in 2024. The Timothy S.Y. Lam Foundation is proud of the work they are doing to improve the lives of hospitality professional hopefuls in need of assistance.
We commend and applaud the past travel grant recipients for their many prestigious accomplishments and the valuable knowledge they have provided to strengthen the hospitality industry.
